Karen Scheper and Marcelo Aguirre have been working as duo [the inner metal] since 2002, merging sound and visuals. Their performances with drums, percussion & voice (Aguirre) and live drawings on the floor are improv. For ao,5 they for the first time developed an environment. the performance @ the opening left its relicts, thew drumset, sticks & floordrawing, as part of the installation.

Seit 2002 arbeiten Karen Scheper und Marcelo Aguirre als Duo [the inner metal] in der audiovisuellen Schnittmenge. Ihre Performances mit Schlagwerk, Stimme (Aguirre) und Livezeichnung auf dem Boden bewegen sich dabei im Improvisationsmodus. Für ao,5 entwickelten sie zum ersten Mal ein Environment. Die Relikte der Performance am Eröffnungsabend wurden in die Installation integriert.
